A new program called ‘Fashion at The Grove’ premiered tonight, showing a smattering of laidback luxe clothing from all L.A.-based labels; all of which were sourced from Barneys Co-Op, conveniently.
Considering The Grove is typically jam-packed with shoppers and families and tourists galore, it made for an interesting (okay, random) setting for a fashion show; meaning it was made to be much more public than fashion shows typically are. And as for the clothes, it seemed more like a live Barneys Co-Op ad campaign than anything else. But that’s just me. Not to mention that those usually charming cobblestone walkways proved ultra-challenging for the models, clomping around in severe platforms.
