Another one bites the dust.
Via a WWD alert e-mail on my Blackberry this morning, I was informed that my beloved Domino Magazine was officially folding. Domino surged through the shelter magazine category bringing fresh, innovative interior ideas and design leaders in the industry to life, led by the impeccably personable editor-in-chief Deborah Needleman.
On a personal note, I first met Needleman when she spoke to my publishing program at Columbia before Domino launched over three years ago, later wrote up the title’s launch party of their book this fall at Kelly Wearstler’s home, and attended the Domino Bazaar a few months back to further show my adoration for the mag’s amazing content and dedicated staff.
Sad day.

I think a little bit of me died inside when I heard this. It will surely be missed.

Long live, publishing!
