These days, I’ve been traveling and working so much that it’s truly been hard to find a healthy balance with all of the change happening in my life. I’ve been desperately trying to change that, but I have to admit, it’s been super tough and I am so not there yet.
A personal mantra I live by is to be kind to myself, because honestly, the outside world is hard enough–so when all else fails, be easy on yourself and float where the wind takes you. It’s all a part of the journey, right?
Last week, I was back home in LA for a work event and it felt so nice to be surrounded by my best friends, running around and catching up like I still lived there.
One morning, my bestie and I got up early to take some fun photos before the city got crowded and overrun with tourists, and I was able to pose in front of this massive butterfly wall in West Hollywood.
Fun fact: my high school letterman jacket said “Butterfly Princess” under my name, and I kind of forgot about that moniker after all of these years. Standing in front of this stunning wall brought a smile to my face and reminded me of the free spirit I’ve always had that led me to this very point in my life.
