Chinese New Year Firecracker LA Emcee: Jennifer Chan

A few weekends ago, I had the distinct honor of emceeing the 40th annual Firecracker LA Chinese New Year celebration in Chinatown, and I had an absolute blast! I just so happened to be in LA that weekend on a work trip, so the timing couldn’t have been better.

I was just started to feel nostalgic for being away from family during this special time of the year when I got the call, and had even more reasons to celebrate. What a thrill to be there bright and early to kick off the traditional festivities and announce the bike run and first annual Paw-er Walk in honor of the Year of the Dog.

I had so much fun hosting on stage and connecting with the Chinese-American community in my hometown, the day totally flew by! Big thanks to my supportive siblings who made their way out to cheer me on!
