I’ve never ever visited Connecticut before, so when a work trip called for a getaway to East Haddam, CT, I was curious to see just how quaint this place could be.
I packed up my summertime florals, my Lilly Pulitzer sheath dress and even threw in a basic denim jacket for good measure, and made myself right at home at a sweet little bed & breakfast inn in the quiet rural town.
The sunsets were unreal, and the food was fresh and seasonal. Despite intense days of work with my team, we made time to enjoy the charms of the town and admired the scenic views and quiet country vibe.
I packed plenty of maxi dresses, including a strapless floral number from Nordstrom, and a sassy navy number from Venus.com that showcased white piping and a high slit.
All in all, Connecticut was SO cute, and I loved my short stay in the sleepy town! Here’s to more summer travels coming soon!
