Hi guys!
This post is weeks overdue, but I’ve been beyond busy–moving across the country and starting a new job! I will have plenty more posts of my new life in Chicago, but I couldn’t possibly do so without a farewell to LA blog first.
Leaving LA was bittersweet, but my friends threw me an epic surprise farewell bash that lasted straight into the hours before I boarded my red-eye flight to Chicago. I know I will be back in LA often for work and for pleasure, but not having a permanent address here and selling my car after ALL of these years certainly tugged at the heart strings.
My big sis, Maxine, of Vanity Girl Hollywood, even surprised me with a gorgeous Cali-inspired Snapchat filter for the proper send-off, which was the best gift ever.
LA will always be my home, and truly the city that molded me into the woman I am today. I have been beyond blessed with incredible career opportunities, endless fun and the best friends I’ve ever found.
This city may have terrible traffic and stressful parking scenarios, but it is so rich in creativity, talent and inspiration at every corner.
LA, I love you and will always consider you home. Now, off to the take on Chi-town! More fab opportunities await!
