Hey guys!
In case you couldn’t tell, I’ve been non-stop busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I’ve done a ton of traveling this year already, and just got back from a whirlwind trip to the Florida Keys.
I soaked up endless sunshine, slathered on more sunscreen than you could imagine and consumed a ridiculous amount of seafood day after day, and I have to say it was all a tropical dream!
Living in California, I don’t really get over to Florida all that often, but it was such a nice break to get to the other coast and dive into the laidback Florida lifestyle for a few days. I bonded with a great group of ladies and we explored the Keys to their fullest.
Highlights included: touring Ernest Hemingway’s house, playing with dolphins at Hawks Cay Resort, touring the Keys in a helicopter, dining at the brand new Perry Hotel (I am still dreaming about their salads and fried chicken!) and splashing in the water just about every single day.
I even attempted snorkeling (it’s not my thing, I realized) and did paddle board yoga (more my speed, although I need some practice with the paddle boarding part.) Although our schedule was jam-packed with fun-filled activities, I really tried to zen out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings as much as possible.
We stayed at some fantastic luxury properties all over the Keys–my absolute favorite being Playa Largo Resort in Key Largo. Not only is the property right on the water (which means a sunset paddle board session is as effortless as it gets), but there’s an incredible luxe pool, gorgeous views and villas/townhouses, too.
Here’s to an unforgettable summer 2017!
xx
Jenn
