I recently partnered with Airbnb to try out one of their new experiences here in London, and took part in a three-day tour where I learned all about several of the prestigious local companies that have earned royal warrants for themselves over the years.
I absolutely love all things royal, so it was really fun for me to not only explore the posh areas of London, but also immerse myself in a ton of knowledge thanks to our tour guide, Helena.
From the Queen’s preferred coffee brewer (H.R. Higgins) and gift shop (Fortnum and Mason) to the famous chocolatiers (Charbonnel et Walker) and more, I had such a fun time touring the city and sampling the best of the best, as well!
On the second day, I had the pleasure of meeting Kate Middleton‘s talented hat designer, Sylvia Fletcher, at Lock & Co., the oldest hat shop in the world! She was absolutely lovely and we all had a wonderful experience trying on various couture hats all afternoon.
I even snapped a photo with Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill while we were wandering through Mayfair! Such gents.
Probably my favorite discovery of the tour was this insanely beautiful fragrance by Floris London. This perfume was created for Queen Victoria as a wedding gift in 1840, and it smells absolutely incredible! I will definitely be purchasing this one for myself as a souvenir to remember this epic chapter of my life living in London.
And a few more regal sights around town:
